He is a little hesitant to play because he has to get accustomed to it. Easy to assemble, way better quality than I thought it would be, I suggest it as a fun toy to go with the Guitar Hero game(s) since the guitars can be used with this game and these drums can be used with some GH games. Got this for my handicapped son for Christmas for a great price. But he is getting more accurate and seems to really like it.
Graphics are sub-par and the cover songs sound like someone singing in the shower. If you've read this far and still haven't run for the hills, the game is horrible. Just skip this poor attempt at cashing-in on rythm game popularity. I bought this because it was the Videogame Deal of the Day.Big mistake. The game is 99% covers (not original Master Recordings) and the one Master is a Linkin Park song.For parents or family shopping for an inexpensive music game as a gift: Please do your loved-one a favor and do not get them this game. Oh, the drumkit is shoddy and the note-highway is a vertical waterfall of jumbled mess.
Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour both make it very simple to configure the game to deal with latency issues. I have no problems with the game when I am playing on a regular CRT TV, but because HDTVs have some latency, it is difficult to configure the game for this latency problem. If you already have the Rock Band 2 Drum Kit or the Guitar Hero World Tour Drum Kit, then you will not need to get the Rock Revolution Drum Kit. Konami did not do a good job with this game. I am unable to configure the game properly for an HDTV. Latency is a very big issue when dealing with music games because milliseconds count.
sounds like someone recorded them playing at a concert or in the garage. and there arent very many downloadable songs and the songs are terrible. it is somewhat hard to get used to, i dont like the way the pads are set up. so i thought i would expand my horizon by buying this game.i dont like it. well i play rockband pretty much everyday, i can play most songs on expert. you have to hand unscrew two screws so you can store the drums, which i have to do everytime i play the game. i thought there where some good songs but whene you here them play its not good quality at all.
